Draw Tickets
Draw Tickets are printed to conform to the Lottery and Amusements Act 1976. All tickets must bear the name of the Local Authority with which your organisation is registered. If you are uncertain of your legal requirements, please check with your local council. Draw Tickets that are offered for sale to the general public must not be sold by any person under the age of sixteen. The price charged for each ticket must be the same (maximum of £1.00) and it is illegal to offer any ticket at a discounted price. eg 25p each or 5 for £1.00. A copy of the full Lottery and Amusement Act 1976 can be obtained from your local authority. |
